HTS supports charity cycle ride

Nick Brown, along with five other dads from Cambridge set off on Father’s Day to cycle over 900 miles from Land’s End to John O’Groats.  Isobel (in photo), one of the peloton’s 6 year old daughter, has Type 1 diabetes and the dads are raising money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation who fund research to treat, prevent and cure Type 1 Diabetes. Currently it’s chronic, you can’t cure it and there is nothing  parents can do to prevent their children getting it.

After an eventful week the group managed to raise over £11,000 (including Gift Aid) for the charity.
