At the December Cambridge City Council Planning Committee meeting, approval was given for a proposed long-term redevelopment of the site at 213 Mill Road.
As the building works near practical completion at the end of 2017, HTS Estates has recruited a Property Manager who will be involved in the marketing and letting of the new 13 units early in 2018.
With the assistance of Barker Storey Matthews, the long leasehold interest in a Grade II listed building in Huntington owned by HTS Estates and occupied by Kingfisher Funeral Services has been sold to an investor.
The new development at 188 Histon Road, to be called Lawrence House when completed, starts to rise from the ground. The 13 units will be ready for occupation before the end of 2017.
Mark Richards of Studio 24 Architects has collected another award for Nelson Court. To the delight of all the team the scheme won the Small New Build Award for 2016.
Following demolition of the two houses 186 and 188 Histon Road, Cambridge, the site has now been cleared in readiness for building works to commence. It is anticipated that 13 new apartments will be complete in the Autumn of 2017.
