Nick Brown MA (CANTAB)
Executive Director
Having studied Land Economy at Cambridge University, Nick went on to qualify as a chartered accountant with PWC and worked in London based financial institutions for over twelve years. Nick was appointed to the board of HTS Estates Ltd to manage and direct the business and in this role he leads the strategic direction of the business and all operational, financial and administrative functions.
Nick lives in Cambridge with his wife Vicki and their three children, and he is also a board member of The CHS Group – a Cambridge based social enterprise and charitable housing association where Nick also chairs the Development & Asset Management Committee. Outside of family and work commitments Nick is a supporter of most sports, particularly racket sports, and a keen cyclist when time permits.
Sally Munday MA MARLA
Property Manager
Sally joined HTS Estates in 2017 having previously managed property letting offices in Great Shelford and Cambridge. Sally is ARLA qualified and brings with her 20 years’ experience letting local properties. A Cambridge resident most of her working life, Sally has great depth of knowledge of the local market. When not at work, Sally can be found on a tennis court or surrounded by her family.
Zane Viksna
Office & Property Manager
With a Masters in Business Administration and business experience in her native Latvia, Zane moved to the UK in 2011 to work in Property Management. She joined HTS Estates in August 2021 to assist with accounting and administration, as well as property management. While enjoying family life in Cambridge, Zane likes nothing better than a forest hike back home in Latvia.
Andrew McGahey MA (CANTAB) MRICS
Consultant
With over 30 years’ experience, Andrew is a founding Director of MP Real Estate and specialises in investment, development, and asset management across the commercial property sectors. Working alongside the directors, Andrew provides complementary strategic and operational advice to help steer the organisation towards the desired outcomes for all stakeholders. Andrew is a graduate of Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge and Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, The Investment Property Forum, The Cambridge University Land Society and Accessible Retail.
Colin Brown
Non-executive Chairman
Colin joined the business in 1962 and has seen the business and Cambridge evolve throughout this period. Colin brings a wealth of experience and an invaluable network of contacts and strategic and tactical understanding to the business. An avid golfer and a long suffering lifetime supporter of Tottenham Hotspurs.
Paulette Brown
Non-executive Director
Polly has been a director of the business since the 1970’s and consequently has an in-depth appreciation of the values important to any success. Polly comes from a family of Cambridge business people and brings an understanding to the business from a history of trading and investment experience. Polly continues to play golf to a high standard having been a county player for many years.
Caroline Hill
Non-executive Director & Family Council Chair
Following a degree in Business Studies at Bath University Caroline qualified as a chartered accountant in the 1990’s and afterwards continued to work in the accounting field. Caroline plays an important role in shaping the strategy and evolution of the business. She has also been instrumental in developing the governance around family ownership of HTS as a platform for future generations. Caroline is passionate about anything equestrian and now lives in Wiltshire with her husband, four children and various animals.
Vicki Brown
Non-executive Director
Appointed in 2016, Vicki is an integral part of HTS Estates as a family business. With experience in owner managed businesses and family offices, Vicki provides a valuable link for the founding owners of the business, to the current beneficiaries, and to the local community. Vicki is a mother of three, a trained chef & 'foodie', a regular gym goer, and will often be spotted dog walking locally.
